Can you image life today without computer networks? No Internet, no mobile phones and no sharing of computer resources. The days of the standalone computer are now numbered, even in the home. Domestic environments today also contain networks to enable families to share their Internet connection between machines located in various rooms in the home. This course is primarily intended to equip you with the practical skills required to build from “scratch” both peer-to-peer and client server networks using cable and wireless techniques.
