This course is ideal for students wishing to develop a portfolio of work to the standard required for entry onto a BA Honours University Degree. Students have the freedom to explore a range of skills that might be of interest to them and will be given the opportunity to select a ‘pathway option' specializing in a field of study depending on their aspirations at degree level. Practical studies are enhanced and complimented with theoretical and critical input via group discussion, presentations and the discipliner of written components. Regular trips to major London galleries and exhibitions also form an essential part of the curriculum, increasing the student's awareness of both historic and current developments within the field of art and design.

Entry:

Higher secondary education or equivalent (preferably with some evidence of Art & Design education)

A portfolio of work is useful but not compulsory

IELTS 5.5 or equivalent English Language level

Qualification:

One academic year

Assessment:

Continuous assessment based on coursework projects at staged intervals

Course commencement:

PROGRESSION

Upon successful completion of this broad based course, candidates have gone on to study a number of BA (Hons) degrees in arts related subjects at some prestigious London and UK based universities.
