The area of Interior Design provides a wide range of career opportunities from residential, retail, social, civic and industrial projects to corporate, leisure and hospitality design.

In recent years there has been a shift in emphasis in this discipline from the specification of surface decorations, fixtures and fittings towards a broader knowledge of the architecture of interiors.
