The Cavendish Postgraduate Diploma is available on completion of one year of advanced study. The programme is suitable for students with degree level Design or Media education and/or professional experience in film or video production. This course is designed for those seeking professional development and a supportive environment for advanced project development, with options for comprehensive practical training, supported by strong critical and contextual framework.
As
well as building key skills through an individually designed timetable, post
graduate students develop their ideas and project proposals through seminars
and tutorials. The final two terms of the course are devoted to developing
a major video production project designed through negotiation with subject
specialist tutors.

PROGRESSION
Successful candidates will be well prepared to take up employment in the film and video environment. Although the Postgraduate programme is a respected qualification in its own right, after successful completion of the course, successful students may continue their studies for a further year to upgrade the Postgraduate Diploma to a Master's Degree at a UK University.
