English for Academic Purposes (EAP) : trains students to use language appropriately for study. In common with all language teaching, EAP tutors teach vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and the four language skills — reading, writing, speaking and listening, but tie these to the study needs of students. Our EAP classes support students already enrolled in degree programs by helping them to read efficiently, practice note-taking skills and learn the formal structures of academic writing.
