Payments
Deposit payable on enrolment (non-refundable*):
UK/EU Students: £2000.00
International students in UK: £3000.00
International students applying from overseas: Please contact the admissions office for details of the minimum deposit required for enrolment (this may be country specific) or for students holding a Conditional Offer please refer to the deposit amount specified in your offer letter.
Note: £250 of the deposit is an annual Registration charge and does not contribute toward the course fee.
The balance of the fee is payable before the commencement of the course. Unless stated otherwise prices do not include books, exam fees (approx £120 - £240) or registration fees of professional institutes. Fees are non-refundable and subject to change. Students wishing to pay their fees in instalments may do so by paying an additional £150 administration fee. In this case, after paying the deposit, half the balance plus £150 is due before the commencement of the course and the remaining balance at the beginning of the second term.
*Note - if a student is refused a visa and the college is notified before course commencement the deposit less £200 administration charge will be refunded.
UK/EU Students can take advantage of discounted fees. Please download the Fee-Scale document above for details.
How to enrol
1. Read the prospectus thoroughly and select the course (or courses) that is of interest to you. Contact the College and arrange for an interview with the Principal who will give you details of the course and timetable, answer any questions you may have and also guide you in the correct choice.
2. Complete all sections of the application form, attach four passport size photographs and copies of your educational qualifications and post it, or, preferably, bring it to the College at the time of your interview. If you are unable to attend an interview, selection will depend entirely on the information contained in your application form. When you have decided on your course of study pay the required deposit (non-EC nationals are advised to pay full fees in order to facilitate their application for a student visa).
3. Fees may be paid in cash, cheque, credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Switch/Delta) or transferred directly into the College bank account. Details can be found in the Fee-Scale document above.
Ensure that your name and course are clearly indicated on any bank transfer documentation.
Please make all cheques payable to CAVENDISH COLLEGE
Note: Payments made by credit card will incur an additional 1% charge.
4. Fees are payable on demand. This will either be six weeks before course commencement or on the Induction day, which usually takes place within the week prior to the commencement date. Students will be informed on enrolment which method is applicable to their course.
5. While course term dates are not expected to change, the College reserves the right to alter dates in order to facilitate or improve the provision of courses and their examinations. These changes will in no way affect the terms and conditions of the student's contract with the College.
