CAVENDISH University Foundation Programme in Social Sciences (Including Law) prepares the student for undergraduate study at a UK university. It is focused on those areas of knowledge and skill that are specific to study in areas of the Social Sciences such as Social Environment in the work place, Politics and Law. However, the program also places emphasis on those skills such as language, study skills, report writing and use of libraries that are essential for any degree level study.

KEY INFO

Entry:

Secondary education (or equivalent I/GCSE) or Mature student status

English Language level equivalent to IELTS 5.0 (minimum 4.5)

UK students – In addition to the CUFP qualification most universities will expect you to have GCSE Maths and English grade C or above.

Qualification:

Cavendish University Foundation Diploma
(Approved by London Metropolitan University under a formal Progression & Articulation Agreement)

Duration:

1 academic year (from September to June) or
1 academic year (from January to August)

Assessment:

Assignments and examinations

Course commencement:

PROGRESSION

Successful candidates will be well prepared to take up an under-graduate position studying for a Degree at University in most Social Science related subjects - UNIVERSITY DESTINATIONS
