Postgraduate courses at Cavendish College give you the ultimate opportunity to pursue your own specialist interests. Courses last from one year to nearly two years, and there is a choice from: Business and Management, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Digital Media and Creative studies.
To join a postgraduate course at Cavendish College, in most cases you'll need to hold an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) from the UK or overseas. This is the foundation from which you'll be able to go on to study a postgraduate diploma or a masters degree. You'll also be expected to have proficiency in English to at least IELTS 6.0 level (or equivalent).
Postgraduate diploma (PGDips) and Pre-Masters
Postgraduate diplomas and Pre-Masters are one-year taught postgraduate level courses that don't usually involve a large research project (or dissertation). They're accepted as professional qualifications in the relevant field, giving you a fantastic head start in your chosen career. They can also provide exemptions from a Masters Degree.
Masters courses (MBA)
Our taught masters courses last between one year and two years (depending on the chosen subject) and consist of two elements: you will complete a number of taught modules (which will include attending lectures and seminars, writing essays and taking examinations) and also produce a major dissertation from original research. Cavendish College masters courses are validated and awarded by University of Wales.
